Since I haven't visited for quite some time I decided to go ahead and post. I very much like the shot... very unusual. Although that's not what caught my attention. It was the comment by Tom Tom... who seems to think that we are all very blind either that or he is very angry about the fact that the scrabble tiles strewn about reminded him of a drug raid. Lynne, Don't you think somehow these could have gone to private homes or other nursing homes? You more than anyone here know how much that would help others. Why do you think there left to rot?

Is yellow really associated with craziness? Because it's my favorite color and a yellow room would cheer me up. I would think it would cheer anyone up: sunshine, sunflowers, dandelions, etc. Of course, if I spent a lot of time in a yellow seclusion room, I'd probably grow to hate yellow.

If someone at BSS became agitated or violent they were "flipping out", and sometimes were put "in the doghouse " (which was a seclusion room). (Terrible !) The people living at BSS used to refer to sex as "playing house". That seemed to be there own slang term... probably learned from very supressed staff.

It looks like the inner workings of a Gomco Suction machine. A coomon sight in a TB hospital and in most general hospitals.

Became agitated and assaultive, or, Became self abusive. Our log books were meant to be read by the oncoming shift. Not everyone would have approved of " going off the head."

yeah ... Mike I, you can't go in there, hahah. although me and 3 friends were in there 30 minuites ago ... i mean, we went in there, didn't see a cop the entire time. we had a police scanner on us to have our backs though. its bad in there man, we got a bad feeling the moment we stepped inside and it hasnt gone away since.
