Twisted Mind, I saw that movie too (and read the short story...Stephen King's "The Mangler")...pretty freaky! That was actually the first thing I thought of once I read Mott's caption telling us what this machine was.

These abandoned halllway shots just make me think thst i'm going to be looking at one one day then BAM! Someone is going to come runnign down the hallway and right out of my compuer screen.

its like the interior of this building is snakelike. the paint is peeling like the skin thats that of a snakes long piosonous body. sheding its old life and prepairing itself for its next.

barbara-we actually still have chairs like that here, it's kind of creepy to see them here though.

To Motts: You may not have recognized it as an alter, I just guessed it was an alter. Its graffitied with "Worship my asshole" was written in spraypaint on it.

I just went there yesterday and I'm just curious if you saw the basketball court, bowling alley, locker rooms and such in the sub basement of the building? And if so, if you purposely chose not to photograph them?

yeah i wandered around w-3 for a good chunk of time, determined to leave with some chunks of human in littel squares of wax.

the past 7 or 8 times ive been at byberry, we've ended up talking to first timers and all they want to see is the morgue. tourist attraction i say.

this is my favorite room at byberry. it just has so much going on, and always seems to be sunny. the picture is very nice.
