the media has a lot to answer for when it comes to predjudice and fear of the unknown.
It is nice to be tucked up in a warm bed, under a solid roof, safe and sound.
Now that asylums and the like have closed down, the mentally ill have been left in the cold and now depend on the caring of strangers for their comfort. Many workers in the feild are truly decent people who not only have the stresses of their jobs but then have to fight for the rights of their clients. Fight the beaureaucrats who treat the care of these people like it is a lesson in how to feed them for less while they get a big bonus.... I too work in the mental health feild for next to no pay but i do because I care... those above me get big pay for doing s.f.a for the clients in our care ..grrr

Kassie!! I have the exact same phobia! I always fear when I'm swimming the the bay or somewhere where ships are i'll hit my foot on a shipwreck, or I'm afraid of falling into the water onto something rusty, sharp, and old.. i dont know why *hides*
