Man, Henry, what great pix! I hadn't seen this one before. It's so great to be able to compare what it was like then and what it's like now, so thanks for both pix! Wasn't it just too coincidental when you found out it was the same place you'd been at?

Thanks Stacy, I will continue doing what I feel is interesting and it will no doubt be controversial (I have some pretty strange ideas right now!), but it is great to hear criticism; often there are thoughts and perspectives I do not see, and I believe it helps a person grow as an artist. You are right, you can't please everyone!

I don't think it matters what anyone else thinks. If trying new things with your photography makes you happy you should do it. Life is too short. I respect you for trying new things. You will never be able to please everyone. So keep up the good work.

I believe because of the materials used and the lack of arms, etcetera, that this might probably have been a bath chair. I've seen more modern versions in the therapy units where we take my little sister who is mentally retarded and developmentally delayed. Many of these chairs remain mostly in the shower stall or bathroom area and allow the kids to be washed before entering the pool or what have you.

You've got a good point ed. I noticed that the demo crew is doing a HORRIBLE job of abatement when i was there last. And you're right. They have to be dumping it in that steam tunnel. I even found some random asbestos peices in the rubble of a few of the c's. They aren't doing a good job at all. FUCK THE DEMO CREW. Im sure one of you loosers (abatement crew) saw that while you ripped out asbestos. Thanks to me....

Hey *Angry*. I was there the next day and saw the wall that injured Dave. I would like to know who told him it was safe in the first place and why THAT particular wall was even damaged by the demo crew? It was nowhere near the row of "C"s you demolished last week but it was quite close to the courtyard where you're taking the asbestos down through the boiler room and illegally dumping it in the steam tunnel under Southampton Road. Since that tunnel is owned by the city of Philadelphia and floods out every rain storm, eventually draining dry and sweeping the asbestos into the environment, don't you think you have bigger fish to fry than berating a bunch of curiosity seekers on a public forum?
I see you've been demoing buildings you never abated as well, like the Furey Ellis auditorium and the rear of N-10. Do you think the neighbors like breathing the poison air your selfish negligence has created?
