I just got done watching Session 9. Wow what a building! its sad they are tearing it all down. What a pretty place.

Motts, how do you deal with the mold in places like this? I guess you wear a mask? Anything specific you could say about what health precautions you have to take in a setting like this would be really interesting to me.

R.E....i think you're on to something about the proximity of the demo'd hallway and the boiler room/dumping area.i think what the city inspectors need to do,is to look into the "c" bldgs that haven't been abated yet and see about the asbestos in those bldgs,(i.e.7-8-9).i'll bet their using the tunnells to get into the bldgs that they're not supposed to be in yet,and removing the asbestos ahead of time and illegally funnelling it elsewhere on site!!!!

This was one of the Beacon, Newburgh ferrys, before that it was a ferry between Boston and East Boston, or perhaps South Boston. I think it was the Lieutenant Flarity or something like that then became the Beacon before becoming a Witte resident. Yes it was a steam boat!

Okay I just asked if you had a PhD on another post and then I read this. You sound like such a caring and interesting person. You seem to love your job although I reckon it must be hard at times. The damaged human mind is one of the sadest things and I applaud you for doing your best to help these people.

By the way--that is so sweet about letting patients choose their room color! So how many colors did they have to chose from?
What's the most outrageous color you've seen in a patients room?

Well she could have more than $700,000 if my other aunts left her their small fortunes. As I said above she could have over a million.
We haven't spent any of her money but the New England family has. I don't think they are spending too much--I think they have spent it all and now have no futher use for the old woman.

She has 700,000. Hope your family isn't spending too much, if it's Massachusetts the state is going to want a hefty part of her assets to fund her care. Any way your GA has the right to get a second opinion about her mental staus evaluation. Contact the AG by all means. Or find a lawyer that specializes in Elder Affairs practice and cosult with them.

it makes you sad..it kinda calls out to you for attention. It must have been horrible on both patients and staff alike. Both knowing that they are in bad situations, the staff most likely upset because they cant give the attention needed to these kids because there are just too many, and the patients because they couldnt help themselves
