well at first i thought they might be some sort of bunks the realized they were way to small then maybe a solitary confinement type of situation. then i came to the conclusion they were some sort of mattress storage device. hay maybe i'm right.

That was when Motts called a soap dispenser a light fixture by mistake, and he's been such a good sport while we've totally blown it out of proportion. Just don't ask about the derbies......

I grew up in Longmeadow-a few miles to the north of the park. Every night we could here the whip? making its slinging sound. My brothers worked there and I worked at the batting range owned by a friend of mine. When we were teens we went there in the winter and walked through Draculas castle in the pitch dark!

Oh its a beautiful place alright. i have yet to go at night though when its supposed to be creepy

The link listed by Danny Being Manny is my favorite also. I made the same mistake thinking it was two heads when in fact it is only one man's head. It was split down the back leaving only the front face attatched and then laid out to give the look of two kissing. Makes me love it more.

Parts of the hospital were built before electric elevators were even invented, much less a standard. This could have been a stairwell or a corner of the original 1856 "Old Main" building, and the windows were left in.
