This is a particularly forboding shot. Especially the way in which the bars on the windows show up so well, despite the shadows that loom over the building.

This almost looks more like a painting or a drawing done with pastels than it does a photograph. It's beautiful in its menacing desolation.

These seats have beautiful detail, but don't look too comfortable. Not a lot of leg room for the tall folks, though since this was a school, that probably didn't matter much...

Like pretty much everyone else who commented here, we had these same exact chairs in junior high, only ours were blue. They were really uncomfortable, and way too small.

I'm back!!! Oh the Concord hotel!!! The former Concord Hotel will be demolish sometime next year. The developer will build a new Hotel to include 1,500 rooms and approximately 450,000 square feet of casino space with 200.000 square feet of convention center space. The club house and 42 guest rooms at the Monster Golf club will be demolish the end of September of this year. The new club house will have 200 rooms. The club house would include a 20,000 -square -foot spa. Yep there is more!!! Up to 3,000 residential units for year-round and seasonal single-family, multi-family and affordable housing are being proposed on the property totaling about 1,735 acres. Approximately 600 acres have been set aside for open space. Between 500,000 and 600,000 square feet of destination and other neighborhood retail and support services would be build on the property owned by >>>>>> stretching from existing hotel site down Concord Road to Route 42.Yes I will be up there soon with a meeting with the owners and yes I will take pictures.

Janice, this safe is "triple secure". There are the inner doors, the middle door, and the then the outer door. The door to the left stacks on top of the inner doors and then the door on the right neatly closes over it all. The "shelf" on the inside of the outer door probably held some "petty cash" or other things needed for everyday use. This eliminated having to open the whole darn thing to get 5 bucks out.

It looks like they were playing a game of squares. But instead of putting your initials in the square you put your name on the chair.
