larry, my friend{s mom perished there too after being used as human guinea pig. she was misdiagnosed for schizophrenia and we are just finding out about her horrible ordeals of 16 years as we found to family and friends now.

Beautiful? These buildings and this place were filled with horror and death, there is nothing beautiful here. There was no accountabiliity for all the suffering that took place in these pathetic buildings.

This is where someone killed my Mother in 1963. It should be completely destroyed, it destoyed my family and my soul.

even on close inspection it's no clearer. there may well have been a payphone there - there's certainly marks on the wall between the pipes to suggest that something was there that has since been removed...

as for the Operating Theatre - it was surprisingly not-creepy, just like the rest of the place. it was pitch black though...

i was there 3 days ago and although it really makes you think, it's not at all creepy really.

can't wait to go back!

The difference in buildings is whether you want to jump the fence or waltz right in. ;)

I prefer waltzing, myself. Or walking quickly.

I've been there plenty of time to know that sometimes unappreciative punks come in and try to make it look like something it wasn't.

Yes mentally insane people were held and died there.

But does that mean people cant just walk in and carve things in the wall?
