yeah, its also known as [Name removed per site policy - Admin.], i've been there, but it's getting harder to get into, someone set fire to a building recently and security is tight.

I'm not sure, but I would think that there would be a lot more than one person a day feeling suicidal, especially in a place this big (though I don't know how many patients it had at a time, I'm guessing quite a few.) I'd imagine that some of the patients here would feel suicidal pretty much every day. But who knows. Maye they were out of touch with reality enough that their craziness manifested itself in other ways.

I have to say that this site, even though it doesn't have as many pictures as Motts' others, is truly fascinating and one of my favorites!
These coffins are beautiful!
I also never knew that they covered them the way some of these are shown.
Once again, this site has not only been truly entertaining, but educating as well with the many comments by it's viewers.

Speaking of Smiley, when I was a teenager I worked at nearby Neshaminy Mall. There was a guy who'd allegedly been an inmate who frequently wandered around in the mall with a ski cap and a headphone radio. If you caught eye contact, he'd give you a big goofy smile and a slow wave and go back to looking through the trashcans in the middle of the mall. We all called him Smiley. It was sad.
