Had my first visit today after looking at this palce for MANY years. Started on the far right, went ionot some of the buildings and houses dodging security. To MANY people out there today, your bound to get caught but played it smart, left , and will return again. I WILL get into each but not so easy, not all seem to have a place to get in without breaking a window. Can anybody tell me which building was the Salmon building and location from the Kettle building? Alos is there any buildings worth exploring across the street. I can not believe how VAST this place is!

Ah, and all the theater windows are now gutted. How sad, but it did give that part of the building a different vibe...in a good way

I don't believe the stripe is there any more. The same for the chairs. They have really come along with cleaning the place out, although there were still several abandoned pianos in the stairwells...

I was born in cedar flats,up from Letchworth and there was an inmate named Bruno,who used to walk away from the grounds and walk through town driving with only a steering wheel. He'd go past our buss stop on 210 and wave as he went by. One time he got down to Haverstraw and pulled up to the local gas pump and said filler-up. He was no harm at all. We thaught he was neat.
