Yes they do, this is just a courtyard enclosed by the building.

Yes, most of the buildings on campus were heated with steam from the nearby power plant.

Actually KPPC is pretty barren given it's size... it looked like they took most of the equipment and furniture which makes this light an odd find.

Thanks Frida! I wind up cropping/straightening about 40% of my photos... I try to get it right the first time but I'm usually a little off especially when the camera is at an height that is uncomfortable to look through the viewfinder.

I would post paranormal photos if I had them, I haven't experienced anything of the like in these places.

I wonder what the actual height of this great room is, what, with the ugly drop ceilings up there.

Also, the curved edges on the (beautiful) arched windows and corners gives it a "padded room" look to it.

This picture and the last one (with the bullet hole in the glass) have a very cold, utilitarian, and 'industrial building' feel to it.

Even in various stages of deteriation, most asylums look like what they are, hospitals.

This one (especially this particular area) just doesn't look like a hospital environement. *shudders*

Okay, I stand corrected, it was automated. :P But still ancient none the less lol :P :)

Wow that thing must be ancient! No automatic ball return / pinsetter. Must have been some task rolling your balls down the lane then having to go all the way back to retrieve the ball and reset the pins on your own. :P
