Hi Joshua, thanks for the heads up! I've visited the West Mountain San back in 2005; it was in pretty rough shape back then. I only snapped a few photos as we were pressed for time... perhaps I'll return if I'm in the area once again and get some more substantial stuff.

It's possible, although I've come across an account of Tom Watkins recalling patients awaiting those kinds of trials at Coleman A Young Center in Downtown Detroit (this was pre-1990)

The autopsy table was there just a year or two previous. I really can't imagine what people have to go through to get something like that out of there.

I remember a huge whiteboard inside one of those rooms with a grid for patient room assignments or similar.

I remember being rather amazed by just how much remained in this room. Doesn't seem to have changed much between my first visit and this picture.

And it is true, local police are using thermal imaging devices to locate trespassers. You can read about it in local newspaper's police activity sections.
