You truly give a good reference to those who are writing and creating artwork in the Steam Punk persuasion, like me for instance!
Thanks lot!

I read something about Newark Watershed Commission thinking there was Radon in the houses, so that's why they were abandoned. It would make sense, really, to explain why all of the furniture and things are inside. It's like in Chernobyl, after the explosion, nobody was allowed to take anything with them when they were evacuated because it was all contaminated. But who knows. It's all very mysterious, really.

You're welcome John R!
You (The public) should learn these things. I shudder to think if the hospitals ever have to reactivate all iron lungs.

It makes you wish that all things were built the same way today.

That makes me wonder if the large metal piece is still intact today.

I knew every guy that was in these rooms.

The color thing here wasn't for that reason. The hospital did it for the guys who used them.

I can just imagine the horse drawn carrage pulling up t o the front. Sepia color on a lower filter would antique the image well.

I think more to it then that. I think people think to themselves "What if that was me?" I have muscular dystrophy. CMD I have gotten a lot of the same reaction "How can you sleep in that?" I think with the unknown people will keep asking the same questions. I know more about respiratory thing and iron lungs and I know most doctors and nurses would probably think that I don't.
