I agree with Motts; the thing on the wall
is almost certainly a lightbox for X-ray
prints or other transparencies.

I'll echo Jude's other question, though:
what's that opening at ground level?
I suspect Lynne might know about this...

Nuts, I can't access it either, although apparently my university has a hard copy of it somewhere. That would be an interesting read!

Yeah, I've definitely seen that painting before. And there was a caption or comment about how it looked like he was supposed to be holding a knife in his hand or something. Ring a bell for anyone else?

Just hazarding a guess... but if all that poop on the table is from the cat, then it must have been around for a while. Maybe the shrinking tendons or something pulled the head back like that after the cat died?

Still... freakin' creepy.

I love the open door photos you take.
Reminds me of the song Freebird, absolutely beautiful!

I've noticed that a lot of comments on these photos tend to label as "creepy" items that are actually quite benign when you know what they're intended for.

But, this picture is just freakin' creepy.

If you were to take this photo to the police or anyone, it might be a good idea to do it anonomously.

Print it out and put it through a mail slot in the middle of the night, with a few background details on it xD
