Seeing this picture reminds me of a section of the book "project 17" by Laurie Faria Stolarz.
It said, " Someone's drawn a row of pissed- off angles, seventeen of them- their backs are numbered- climbing up the wall, hearding for their doom. Their's a picture of a devil at the very top."
It sends chills down my spine...
I went to the Univerity of Detroit Mercy we use cadavers and they are I am not sure if they are embalemed pr not but they are very not in any pool they aare wraped in a plastic covering to keep them moist and they are treated with the highest respect. In the summer after the school year the univericities hold a prayer service before they are cremateated . All bodies are domated to science by them or there family
(Twilight Zone music builds) It looks familiar to me too.....weird-o. Thank you Birdy for the remark about the knife, I thought I was the only one to notice that it looks like the boy had been holding a knife, perhaps to stab the dog with? And doesn't it look like they are sitting in a puddle of pee?
I'm sure Lynn or someone else could have a field day just examining my remark, lol, but seriously, this is one picture with just SO much going on, on so many levels.
And that tail! Looks like a fiddlehead fern or something.
Correct Birdy. As the tendons dry out, the back and neck arch opening the mouth. The expression on its face is very doubtfully the expression of a painful death. Its just the drying process pulling everything into that peculiar shape. Nvusovmots, I agree, interesting to see it dried out in such a moist environment. I guess we must assume it died during a dryer spell.
Which is all totally beside the point. What an excelent photo.
