I worked at st Margarets hospital from 1987 till 1989 at a disabled horse / donkey riding centre built with in the grounds of the hospital. whilst i had worked there, before demolishment of the old hall there had been reports made by nursing staff at the hospital that the ghost of Sir Joseph Scott had been seen amonst the ruins of his once home, also the ghost of a grey lady used to be seen in mid air (floating) walking down the area where the great stair case once stood in the ruins.

Looks like what's known as a 'slit lamp'. The idea is that light is shone into the patient's eyes and it bouces off the retina. The doctor can see the state of the retina, or scan the eye for foreign bodies. You'll likely find the knobs will change intensity and slit shape/color.

Hospital Biomedical Engineer here. Yes these muscle stimulators/TENS call them what you will put out a form of AC current. You'd likely find a couple of the dials are for amplitude and frequency, the gauge would be for output milliamps.

One can also use a Muscle Stim to check depth of anaesthesia.

My family moved into a new house when I was 10. We all slept in the living room for 4 nights because of remodeling. Every night I would see this small figure crawl across the floor very fast,stop by the side of my mom and dad's bed,then crawl incredibly fast up the stairs.Every morning my dad would wake up and his cigarettes would be gone. I told them what I saw but they didn't beleive me, until the past owners came by to pick up something they left behind.I overheard them telling my parents why they moved. They had a 7 year old boy who had died of cancer, and the doctors had to remove his legs at the knees and one of his arms,and that they moved because the house reminded them of their son to much.
