I retired as a Master Chief Signalman after putting in 31 yrs. It is a flagbag. A standard Navy flagbag held 68 flags - 26 alphabet flags, 10 numeral flags, 10 numeral pennants, and 18 special flags & pennants. A flagbag held 2 of each flag or pennant.
