It does have a very disturbing feel to it, the contrast and the lighting play that up. The subtle colours makes me reminisce about some chair shots or, particularly, 'Hollow' in the Margate State School gallery. Though not that frightening ;)

Black and white really works well with this shot, it's very classic and the contrast is good for the definition it provides to the subject matter.
