Have you ever seen Weston State Hospital in WV?

I can think of few places, that I have visited, that have such an erie feeling about them. I have been to abandoned grand hotels, that are as expansive, and dark, though at Danvers the history is palpable.

Its amazing how the moonlight makes it look like daytime. I guess the moonlight is the same as sunlight only a lot less but if you keep the exposure long enough it adds up to day light

This is the only building with any damage, It seems like the others were used more recently

These buildings had to be in use until recently. were these all deolished too? If so what a waste as they are all good solid buildings that don't look so bad

I was thinking the same thing about the carpeting. They must have installed if just before the place closed like they were going to reuse this building for something else. Was this building torn down too?

Did those little partitions really help with privacy and keeping the noise down? I wonder what caused that ceiling tile to fall. It looks like that floor was vacuumed right after the place closed

It looks like this building was just abandoned recently. There is no decay

That looks sort of like a college dorm room. There must have been a mattress on that bed. I wonder what happened to it. It doesnt look like that place could have been abandoned for so many years.
