years ago there were no services available for the hanicapped ,mentally retarded , mentally ill,this is where alot of the people were put because they didnt know what to do with them. I know because I use to visit my aunt there , im glad shes in a safe home now.

@motts, i wonder who the person is in the blue shirt and black pants, standing behind the glass door at the left side of the corner pillar, just ahead, even the left hand is visible as he stands sidewise and looking half left half to the camera, but the face is somehow blurry so i cant say if its really a person standing over there or something else or just my eyes playing a trick.

I agree, Nina. A lot of these places seem to remind me of Silent Hill. It only furthers the beauty of it, though.

This electrode selector was beautiful. About two years ago it was still hooked up to the entire EEG machine, and rested comfortably in the basement until some little jackasses decided to toss it off the loading dock. Thankfully, a fellow brother of Haverford State managed to save this very electrode selector days before demolition commenced. His efforts should be commended!

What drip trays? There weren't any left at the beginning of '07 if you're talking about the slabs that were in the freezer. This morgue was probably one of the cleanest i've been in, (besides the obvious vandalism) and several HSH locals frequently cleaned the whole thing up. Crying shame that some assholes had to draw a massive penis and balls on the autopsy table in its final days.

Yeah, you definetly wanted to sterilize the instruments in order to not contaminate future autopsies with blood/tissue from past postmortems. Makes perfect sense to me. As the saying went on 2/3/07, "at Haverford, we believe in health". hahahaha.

Benz Boy, where was it trashed? If you went from the third floor up, some areas were pretty damned clean. I agree that the library and main lobby areas were fucked, but this building wasn't THAT bad. Ever go in Glenside? I once found remnants of a goddamned fire that had been set there.

And no, this was looking south. If you looked right, it was west. This was taken from the roof of the south wing. I spent so many evenings on that rooftop watching the sun sink into the western sky. God i miss it so much.

It was indeed a hair salon. This was either located in one of the two geriatric wards, or the main Hilltop building.
