So true Mike, after making bricks, and probably using them to build with, when they came out of prison they would have a skill that would allow them to go out and make an honest living. I also noticed the wood on the ceiling, to bad that can reclaim it for salvage, there really is a market for that now days with everyone going "green".

I think Wormfood is right. Could they have beenfor some kind of holders for wires? Either for electrical service or one of those systems that people put on the roof in case of a lighting strike? Or could it be for barbed wire, to keep people from escaping out the roof then repelling down the side of the building.

You know, if they made prison's more like this one, maybe people would be less inclined to want to visit them. I would not want to be a guest of the "county hotel" if it looked like this place.
