That looks cool great shot.

I worked here from 82-85. I always thought the grounds were really pretty and the old buildings were pretty cool to wander through though they weren't nearly as creepy when they were loaded down with residents. I had thought this place was gone, but it sounds like it still around at least in part, so I'll have to plan a visit back that way before it's all bulldozed.

I'd like to thank who ever took this pics, both my parents worked at pilgrim, mom was in bldg 9, then went to 10 before she retired, dad was in maintaince at edgewood, then went to pilgrim when edgewood closed, he worked his way up to Locksmith, and took a promotion to a unit on staten island. I remember going with dad to pick mom up at work, hell some of the patients remember me as a baby. Its sad some of the things that happened there, and its sad whats happening to it now. i went there the other night and too alot of pictures .. i go there once in a whole and it was only scary at night . one of the doors i went in was scary . there was a random picture of mickymouse on the wall and the other time i went at night there were random homeless people living int here and told me and my friedns to leave there home

when u go around to the other door in the back its not scary at all there iss random chairs there and wagons inside i scared the shit out of myself and ran out but it just looks like a construction sight ,, jsut be carefull of the secruirty
