Love it, I'm curious, you say there is a tour?
Did you use.. Forced entry? Or did you pay?

I've wanted to go explore the old TB hospital on Blakeslee in kalamazoo. I want to take pictures. I have not found many. The only thing is I would be scared to get caught.

I think I'm going to make it my primary life goal to never have to live in a building that requires bars on the windows. Regardless of whether they are keeping me in, or something else out. :-/

For those who are that curious where these places are, all you have to do is google the name, and the location appears somewhere.

Geri Chairs are still around and look exactly like that in 2008..Man, They are very comfortable.

I always find it amazing, the random chairs in abandoned buildings. It's almost as if the building is reliving its previous inhabitants.

Makes one really wonder what was on the other side of that steel door.

That fixture was very common in the late 50's and early 60's. I remember seeing them when I had surgery in 1964...Pink was not cheery at all.
