This place is is so Creepy to walk around.

I do like the blue color its nice. Not sure if its gold leaf or not but it is pretty cool to say the least.....Nice design. Such a shame is sitting there going to waste. Its probably been sitting too long to renovate now. Its cost too much $$ now. Sad but so true....Nice photo again Motts....love it...: )

Its a little too dark at the end of that hallway....I'd be like were is my flashlight.....I'm waiting for someone to come running out of the darkness.....eekk!! Scary to me....but good shot again, Motts!!

I agree that the green is an odd color....but the arches are wonderful.....what a shame its in such horrible shape.....

NPO is nothing per ora, ora being mouth. Most of these terms and abbr. are still used today. although we don't use sse's anymore where i work... different enemas though.

Interesting framing. The light makes things look okay. I'm guessing that the round object outside the doors are/were a smoke detector of some kind (?)

scuba is right ,I think that is called a ball and race crusher

I am a power plant operator and JT is right on target. the crushers are located inline with the boiler front and after the coal passes thru it is blown into the firebox on the boilers

could be a forced draft fan for putting more air into the boiler but hard to tell from this picture. could also be a fan for air movement in the coal storage bins
