Gorgeous lighting and wow, what a composition! One of your shorter hallway shots but still excellent :)

The facility I work at used to bring all the residents outside once a day...rain or shine...and let them sit. It was thought to help with their "conditions". That was before my time, though. They tore down the old institution that was built in 1898...it became too dangerous...but I always wished I could have seen it in it's "glory days". It was know then as the Trempealeau County Asylum and you can still find some pictures of the old building.

Green is a calming color and still used in institutions. Note the hinges - themissing door must have been amazing! It is probably gracing someones house now!

After I finished reading the comments i went back to the top of the page and the drawing was GONE!!!

My ex was put into a seclusion room at the hospital she was at and was on suicide watch. Nice pic btw

What makes it even stranger is, if it does say Beth, notice how the paint forms flower shapes to the left of the writing, Almost as if a cry to 'Beth' left behind and was so heartfelt that it is still haunted by whoever wrote it, still in the room waiting for her

Great shot. I can just see Danny from that movie, The Shining, riding his bigwheel down the hallway.

It kind of invites you through the door, yet the other side of the door in complete darkness. Mysterious.
