I have a sick sense of humor but this...this is just going to far.

well maybe its a ghost of a male adminsitrator, he appears to be looking at documents on the desk, facing away from the window....and the dark shadow to the left is intriguing too! my favourite type of location, hospitals, sanitoriums and asylums

i live just up the road from here and its an amazin building and i have been in it many times as a family member used to be a security guard there

Very, very interesting! The brick walls and the gold-tone tubs evoked a dark, molancholy atmosphere to me.

As to the gold-tone, I think someone, or another photo group, came in and painted the tubs. If you look closely, you can see the white porcelain down under the head of the tub, just above the pedistal of the tub on the far right.

Same again for the top left tub, they did not paint the backside under the edge.

The area just above the dirt-covered bottom of the nearest tub, you can see where the paint stopped.

Embalming is only required by law when a body is going to be transported across state lines.

Oh and the history of the place is a tuberculosis hospital. What kinda hospital needs a steel plated door with a steel bar latch? A zombie hospital?

it is so boring up there now. it used to be exciting and erie to be up on that hill.

It such a shame that the mansion had to be torn down. I grew up in Goshen and passed the mausoleum, mansion and Salesian School every day to go to school. I was recently in Goshen while on leave and visited the grounds. The school and tower were fenced off but the new park they opened on the grounds is lovely.

I think it should consider the peteint's best friend not an enamy.
