I'm trying to remember who was on ward e for a short period of time during that summer. I remember the escape. Cause Mark that worked in the teen center went after you guys. I think Corey did too. The other staff member

Patrick I passed through there in the summer of 1984 for a few months. Was part of my history. Was some of my better memories. That's only my opinon. I hopped over the fence with a kid named Tom, I called him Olive because of his bald head. Most of my time was spent in the qr because all my priveleges were gone. I never left the floor but that was just my normal so it didn't seem out of the ordinary. I went to Westborough DYS from there and never looked back. Those were the good old days. Just my small dose of reality.

Carmen A. I know her.
by David Morton (1886-1957)
There is a memory stays upon old ships,
A weightless cargo in the musty hold,—
Of bright lagoons and prow-caressing lips,
Of stormy midnights,—and a tale untold.
They have remembered islands in the dawn,
And windy capes that tried their slender spars,
And tortuous channels where their keels have gone,
And calm blue nights of stillness and the stars.
Ah, never think that ships forget a shore,
Or bitter seas, or winds that made them wise;
There is a dream upon them, evermore;—
And there be some who say that sunk ships rise
To seek familiar harbors in the night,
Blowing in mists, their spectral sails like light.

Just got this book, and it is spectacular! It's nice to have a part of your work on these places in a form of a book. Thanks.

Very peaceful shot....no cars on the street, town lights in background, and light beginning to come over the mountains.

Have been staring at this photo for the longest time. While staring, my mind has been replaying the video posted earlier...seeing the ghosts of men working at controls just like these. Motts, you've outdone yourself with the gallery.

Thank you so much for posting the link to that video. I was absolutely mesmerized watching the engines run. It's so very sad to see those majestic engines in the current contition; yet they still hold their majesty and regalness in their stillness.
