Sorry Foord thinks Halcyon Hall is such a dump. Foord is obviously one of the "oblivious uneducated individuals". Maybe Foord should ask where the town was for all the years this "dump" was deteriorating. Why was it not at least enforcing zoning ordinance provisions about maintaining property? Sorry HH is such an eyesore. Maybe the town deserves to be saddled with it.
Looks like a bit of asbestos insulation drooping down there. With all the hazards involved I gotta wonder if you guys wear any safety gear when you go into locations such as this. I'd personally want a hard hat, gloves and a respirator of some kind with all the peeling (presumably lead) paint, jagged rust and deteriorating insulation around.
No doubt either a motor or generator (more than likely a generator, as this was a power station). Whoever stripped it no doubt got a fortune in copper for their efforts.
pennhurst is the kind of thing when you're there you think "there couldn't be ghosts here...ghosts/spirits aren't real" but at the same time, you feel a presence nearby...and part of the reason you think about ghosts/spirits being unreal is because inside you still think they are real...reality is sort of blurry until a while after you leave.....by the way anyone know much about kinsey's (not sure about the spelling )old distilleries? I've been back there sooo many times in every building...i live near there
yeah when u go ito the builidngs u can feel the asbestos in your throat and stuff.... but hey i have a russian gas mask! The ones with the green tank and the white skin.
And this place really has a good lockdown on it... Not security... but u know.. like all the doors are smelted closed and stuff. But if ur really one of those people wwho are wiling to climb through the windows and little holes and all that... be my guest!!
Yo motts, since this place is like right down the street, i know lots about it. They just like threw patient records into the woods, and some equpitment. Supposedly people would sneak into the closing hospital and see patients just like walking around..... Theres so uch to it though... Theres like 100 buildings
