Can anyone tell me what that is in the far right hand corner? I can't for the life of me figure it out

Interesting even the peeling paint forms a archway over the stage. And why are those windows open? If I only had the money for this place. Simply beautiful!!

Better yet why is it sitting in the middle of the floor? It make u also wonder how big the room is and how many row of these I am assuming shelfs are in one room. And the colors of the rug is still very vibrate. Very little fading. I wonder how long it has been sitting there. I love a photo that can make u think!!

The hooks bring to mind a Seinfeld episode...

"are you terribly fussy about your pants?"

That's crazy about the guy falling down the elevator shaft in the other building. You won't see me ever looking down one of those things. Great photo.. though sad to see what it's become.

I just read a book called The Death of the Asylum: A Critical Study of State Hospital Management, Services, and Care. It's dated, but provides an in-depth view of the root causes of failures in state-run psychiatric facilities, and may be of help.

Yeah, a guy fell down an elevator shaft in the building that is literally next door to this (the old abandoned post office) not too long ago. It took a few EMTs to saw his body out of the ice in the basement.

There are tons of messages written on the walls of MCS by someone under the moniker of "Catfish."
