I visited my grandmother in hospital in Essex when I was 5 yrs old in1942. In the same ward there were these Iron lungs. Very frightening to me at that age
Rich, the rink was on the way to New Paltz "Tilden Lake" was the name of the place. They have since filled in the lake and put up houses too bad lot of fun times there as well as sore backs and bottoms LOL. The only place close that I remember was a bed and breakfast at the crossroads on the way to New Paltz had a bar on the first level real folksy if you get my drift I dont remember the name. Do you remeber Selly the entertainment director.
