was there about 8 years ago in Phoenix House. Took the elevator down to the basement and when the door opened. I could not breathe, I went in anyway and every hair on my arms stood up I kept going and came upon an old mattress spring with ties on it, looked like old blood on the floor as well. Wasnt suppossed to be there so I never said anything. I remember running out like I was being chased by the devil himself. I explored alot and wish I had free domain of the place to explore it more. There were always rumors among the people there about it being haunted.

Parts of the basement would have a layer of water covering the floor on occasion, which made the atmosphere even more unsettling.

I'm not sure if it was the construction of this tunnel, or something that comes with all tunnels, but when you stood quietly in the center of the tunnel (such as to gaze at this horrifying mural) your breathing would cause this echoing humming that would get deeper the longer you stood there.

I love it! These shots are so intriguing, very different, very cool.

I was here before, and at night where the ceiling is damaged it would be full of pigeons just resting and watching what was happening below them.

I wonder if they didn't make that to scrap some big piece of machinery when the place was closing
