i had afriend who claimed to have spent several weeks mapping the entire hospital at NIGHT .HE said there is a long tunnel which gets smaller till he had to crawl on his belly several hundred claustrophobic feet further found a small room with a chair.That story has creeped me out ever since.

I never went inside but dreamt often that I had,even 15 years after leaving MA.I lived at Smith just across the river and could see the roof from there.Recently found out my greatgrandmother was locked up there with alzheimers.Several of my uncles and aunts worked there .Is it really torn down?

It was born from the absolute boredom of waiting for a few wiggerish buddies to get done with their NYC style tags. I tried to make it a mix of Anthrax and Iron Maiden style letters because their's were so...well...*ethnic*. I wanted to make a statement for Heavy Metal since most graffitti has a rap influence to it.

Awwww.... I live 2 minutes away from this beautiful building.... shame it's being turned into flats, should have kept it as a hospital. my friend's mum used to work there when we were little and we used to walk up and meet her. Happy days.
