Artifacts like this are amazing. Things from people who actually lived there.

Is that picture for Refference? Like "if this person is running away from you in her underwear, this is what she will look like and you know she is escaping."

Or is it for patient entertainment?

Theoretically you can get smallpox from the remains of someone who had smallpox. Anytime archaeologists conduct a dig where there are possible smallpox patient remains there are a ton of extra safety precautions taken, although I'm not sure if anyone has ever been infected this way.
