my husband is a carrier for TB, he was exposed to it at work when several years back. he is currently on an HLH drug to treat the dormant infection so he can start taking Embrel for his RA. TB that goes untreated can be very dangerous but with medication (taken properly) most TB can be cured now day.

Definitely hazardous waste. In all the TB hospital I have seen photos of I have never seen this sign posted in any of them.
