I too worked in a building w/ one of those dreadful heaters. I called it hellfire. Too hot when it was on, cold when it was not. Oh and it would blow papers off your desk if you did not anchor them down.

Yes, Mica I think those are probably mid 60's light fixtures. I remember similar ones up to the 70's but by then most institutions were putting in ghastly fluorescent lights.
