That's amazing that it's still there. I hope no one touches it & treats it as an icon of this facility. I'm also happy to see no one responding to the pinheads threatening further vandalism & theft thus denying them the attention they so desperately crave.
Eight words: "You have no idea 'where I come from' ". Two more words: "Personal responsibility". One more word: ......."Wow"... Now ,you have yourself a nice day now :-).
I remember seeing one of these when I was 9. Its an Anesthetic pump, the large jar on the table had a cloth soaked in the liquid and the two large vials pumped it and air into the patient to make their experience, more "enjoyable".
well nvus arent you awesome. because you have managed to live a life unscathed you think you have the rights to pass judgment on situations you dont necessarily understand. you are entitled to your opinion as much as the next person but the truth of life is that NOTHING Is BLACK AND WHITE/good or evil. The point I was making was that circumstances vary and yes many crimes arent mistakes. some were put on that path due to child abuse, mental health, lack of proper education and opportunities creating socioeconomic cesspool of crime and violence. Yes let blame the animals for acting as such when left to languish instead of addressing the lack of proper care for the mentally ill and the like. Just cause they did not come from where you did you can stand on your high horse. You are part of the problem. You will fill the jails but create more of the person you claim to so detest with you ignorance toward a solution...
I'm familiar with those lights. We had these over the beds in the old (and long abandoned) dispensary on Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. In the early days of the space program, during the Mercury, Gemini, & early Apollo programs, this building was referred to as the Base Operations Surgical Unit or BOSU. It was also referred to as the Astronaut Hospital and had patient rooms, an ICU, a surgical suite, an X-ray room and a lab.
Anyway, these lights were extremely bright. Motts, you would have a blast exploring the old Cape Clinic. .
I REALLY want to get inside! But I cant think of any of my friends that would wanna go with me :( none of them have that intense curiosity like I do. Sigh.
I'm seriously thinking about gathering a group of people (like 3 or 5) and going there at night with flash lights and camera's. I know my boyfriend would love to go with me cause he loves going into places he's not supposed to haha. And I know another friend of mine would go and possibly my sister and her boyfriend. I realllly wanna go inside and check it out!
