my bad, for the first comment. lead and oil based paints have a tendency to amber (or yellow) severly. latex has always had the best color retention

not its not, because they have never, ever used lead on walls. only trim. same like these days, some of us "real" painters use oil on the trim and latex on the walls, they used lead trim, oil on walls. luster is a measurement on sheen retention, and saturation for color retention...OH!

Thats a very creepy looking chair. The walls seem to have a formica coating thats falling apart. It is a mystery as to how that plate got there. Maybe it was just dropped there when the place closed and nobody cared to throw it in the garbage
