Boiler1220,

There are light bulbs there. my guess is there was a stained glass window that was backlit by the bulbs... probably looked really pretty compared to the barren bleakness of the rest of the complex

Ahhhh, school! My son just turned 3 but won't go to preschool until September (it just worked out that way financially for us). Anyway, I love him to pieces but will be happy when he's in school for a few hours! Not that it doesn't stop me from going on here (um, I'm in the middle of folding laundry and Liam is playing with trucks). :-D

LOL! Me either! ;)
I used to pass by this place all the time. I am from Boston but lived in and around the Detroit area for well over 20yrs. It's sad to see this and many other places in the city. But thanks to our friend here justice is done for the station. Or as much that can be done. Thanks for doing what you do. Keep amazing us with your talents.
I always loved your work. I have been looking at it for years. Thank you for blocking out the names. Your work that you do will help not let these places be forgotten. We must remember. These people were human too. Still are if alive. Keep up the good work.

OK, everyone stop pushing, you'll all get your turn to rinse off!!
HAHAH...gives new meaning to "hang em out to dry" huh?
:D You guys crack me up! With all the laundry and cleaning I have to do while the kiddos are at school, I am surprised I find 10 minutes to sit here and comment. (Shhh...the laundry isn't done yet lol)

I am in love with this picture and I can't put my finger on it...
LOL Kathy...the nice thing is that the oldest goes to school from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, 2 go to school from 8:20 am to 2:30 pm, one goes to preschool from 12:00 pm to 3:30 pm and the other one is happy to play with his feet, explore the area I let him explore (his future room where his 2 brothers are), drool on himself, eat. poop, and sleep for most of the day. :D
Uhhh.....

*Got nothing again but still LOL*
Eeeek...ok Joe...just watch for falling plaster and zombies and we should be OK. :D
