An other great shot, color and composition are the best.

The hospital is still in operation, it just downsized in the 1980s. I think that description is verbatim from SHC's history page: http://www.dhmh.state....ngfield/history.html

that is waaaay too cool - being a Baltimore girl it's nice to see someone looking at the haunts of Maryland
Oh, that makes sense. Thanks for responding, Motts!
Another wonderful gallery! This place still looks regal!
Cool find!
Lighting is fantastic! Brings this to life.
Love stair shots and this one is superb!
I love the brightness it gives the room. Beats Pepto Pink and that horrid green!
Weird. Asylum Projects says complex still active. Wonder how long ago this was posted tho. They are into the 90's so may have closed since then.

Looks warm with the coloring. No broken glass. Like seeing the other building thru the window.
The building I work in now is of those cement blocks...nothing ever makes those things look good. I love the simplicity of this shot.
Those mirrors alone give me the creeps. What are all the holes for - five are the ones from the previous shot, but there are an additional five on the other wall.
People are so gross. Maybe that place has a few secrets still.
