1950 Chevrolet Bel Air Coupe

Still beautiful.

IF the only issue is rust, grab it before someone else beats you to it.

However, seriously, if you visit this location, please take extensive photos of all the cars that rest there. Before taking any of the cars home, please perform your due diligence and ask for permission to rescue one of these from the people that live there lest you be accused of stealing. You can try the idea about how you feel the need to save the car before it’s usefulness is gone forever.

You should definitely consider transferring the body onto a more modern chassis and possibly a totally custom chassis. Such as...

Jumping in here very late to the party, but this reminds me. I've seen that same use of wallpaper in the violent wards at 'Green Hill' State Hospital. There's are some seclusion rooms in a hallway leading to what was once a hydrotherapy suite, but the not the famous hydro-therapy suite at Green Hill, where many of the doors have different kinds of wallpaper cover the top to mute the intense steal hardware.

JohnBuff, I believe you're correct! And if I remember correctly, the thing at the Brockton fairgrounds is also a sink (with the foot pedal).

I remember exploring this place about 10 years ago, and what a strange sight. Great basement for a small hospital!

I've made many trips here, as a photographer myself, and never had any issue. 10 years exploring and made a rookie mistake in 2015/16, 2 police officers saw us INSIDE a building. We came outside and we all spoke. Myself (39) and my cohorts (in their 60's) had all of our gears in our hands, said that we drove out from Eastern MA to see the place and were just honest to them. Not only did they let us go, they let us continue exploring! I'm going to miss this place, as it's an old favorite!

Excellent gallery, btw!

Mott's, do you ever free-hand the camera in decent lighting? Or do you tri-pod every shot? Just curious. Great gallery!
