That's a neat shape to the ceiling. I see brick was used for the ceilings quite a bit in this place. I guess it's safe (I don't know...lol) but I know I'd be scared of a brick falling loose and clunking me on the head. Surely that HAS to have happened at some point in mankind, right?

I guess they were 'sealed' in with plaster or something, too, which would make falling less likely, but still... ;)

I wonder if they never finished this room at all to begin with, or were remodeling it? Either way, before going totally grey, the pink or green might not be too bad....certainly not great but it would have a little life, you know?

My goodness that room looks painful narrow. But beautiful mix of manmade and nature. The lighting has to be good in there...the window looks to be as big as the room lol.

Opening on the right wall looks kinda stange,can't figure out if it is boarded up or just a recess in the wall??

If I had to pick a color for a room in this place, of all I have seen this is probably the best...it's very relaxing to me, even though it's yellow. It could have something to do with the soft sunlight, too, but the color is pleasing enough in itself. The 'pepto' pink or the lizard green would get really irritating and old after a very short time, I would think. It seems like this yellow would be a color that would be used in private homes, not institutions or hospitals. I understand the color therapy thing, but the pinks and greens seem like something you could buy by the 5 gallon barrels at discount rate because they are pretty undesirable to use in such quantities...lol

Kinda like an old barn door??
