nasty graffiti zombies! grrrrr!

Im only 16, and i was born the year it was shut down. What a shame, i really would have liked to visit here, my mom has very fond memories of this place. The old commercial makes it look like so much fun, im so envious of all you adults who got to go there! Seems like alot of fun!

mama5, i immediatly thought stables for horses. But it makes more sense that it was for cars of ammo, since it's buried.
Be a great stable tho, nice and temperate all year round for the horses.

okay, have any of you heard this one? My dad use to tease me about the cement grain towers when I was a kid. He said they used them sometimes as jails.
Problem was the poor guy inside went insane cuz he couldn't find a corner to **** in.
Oh well.

hallejuiah! preservation attempts!! Hi everyone, I've been away and have missed all of your comments. Doesn't Motts rock?

I showed these pictures to my mom, who is about 40, and shes was amazed at how it looked. She went here as a teenager and it was very active with people and the rides where big and bright, it looked nothing like this. It's funny to think about children and teens running around here playing and having fun.

I've been inside that room before; It's a vault. There is (or at least was) a safe inside of there.

That would be to difficult to not take. I LOVE retro appliances.

I normally don't take things from places I explore but occasionally the temptation is too great. I've got a large metal first aid kit I took from a decommissioned military building, a wheel chair, and a weird steam gauge thing, It's got a glass globe and lots of markings on it. Never did figure out what it is.

Clock could have been battery powered. They do make those.....
