Tony, that's not a paper towel dispenser; it's either a soap dispenser or a light fixture, right? ;-)

I LOVE this shot!

Most facilities have extra adaptive equipment in case it is needed when a piece in use breaks. When hospitals close down, they generally close building by building, and I am always amazed at what is left behind. The place at which I currently work is in the process of closing and we have tons of equipment like this that is somewhat outdated such that no one would want to use it, given how much lighter and more mobile the newer adaptive equipment is.

Tony, my darling, those hallway shots are the best, aren't they?

You can see out the windows, but if the screens weren't there, exciting things would have happened in the way of attempted escapes or attempts acts of self-destruction.

You get a large group racing down the stairs for a meal and you would be thrilled to have the caging installed. :-)

Thank you so much for preserving this landmark in it's "true" state. I would no doubt love to take a guided museum-state tour, but it wouldn't have the same feel, the same melancholy as looking at these Tods through your lens. Outstanding, Motts.

@autoguy, submariners used the same method to find leaks at depth; when it sawed the broom handle off, you knew you found the leak...

I love these shots!! Mack Hemp, owned by the E.W. Bliss Co., it's trademark was filed 1/8/1964 and expired 11/25/1984... producer of slag and cinder pots... good to be back, these shots are heaven! Thanks Tom!
I am amazed as to how big that engine is and it only produced 525 H.P. You would think it would be well over 1,500....
