He/she was probably napping. A family cop friend and also two professors I had who were cops, said that quite often, especially overnight shifts, they would just find a secluded, quiet place and just sleep. Many times it was near an intersection or something along those lines, so any cars that went by would be wary and slow down, etc. Meanwhile, they were snoozing the whole time, completely unaware of any cars or anyone...lol Nice.

Statistically, one in every 10 people is gay. I'm sure Puchi Hill was not alone in there...

"...sometimes, some crimes go slipping through the cracks, which leads to gumshoes..." LOVED that cartoon. They were also on Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies.

It makes you wonder just who these pics and drawing belonged to...his likes/dislikes...his crime...what he thought and did each day...etc. So much wonder for someone who we will never meet.

I think as a punishment...inmates should have had to clean these shower floors and walls with toothbrushes, like they had us do in the army. The smell alone and the interesting dried-up spatters you would find on the tile would make one really appreciate keeping their living/washing quarters clean.

My first thought when I saw this pic was..."I wonder just how many freely-swinging dicks have been in this room?" lol

I had no idea jail cells had windows...
Wouldn't that be dangerous for anyone walking by? The inmate could have something sharp hidden away and at the right moment, stick his arm out and cut a heffer...just saying...
Never saw this before in any jail. New to me! :) Thanks!
It is just so beautiful.....in spite of the windowless huge wall...
I just lost my great grandma Drayer to fast spreading cancer last week on Thursday!! Please pray for me!
