I always look forward to coming home and looking at your galleries!

Looks like a brake. Electric motors will sometimes have a drum for braking on the tail shaft, while the other end is connected to a speed reducer. If the conveyor belt is on an incline, the brake will keep the belt from moving when stopped. To the left is a base with 4 holes. Most likely for a electrical coil that would operate the brake.

Today it strikes me that maybe i like this album so much, is because there i no graffiti.
Am not against it, it can/may be awesome, but sometimes it just is not pretty.

Often return to Verden; it is so calm and peaceful. A favorite album.
And all those hairdryers make me think how well groomed the women were back in the days. In spite of the hardships.
Wish i knew where it is/was.

Reminds me of the stairs in House of Wax that lead down into the wax works, except the wall isn't made out of faces and heads.

Warden George put me in there with big Hugo back in '73. If I didn't bite him he would have killed me.

Perhaps not sold for scrap?.... Perhaps..... sold to someone as "antiques"? worth much more that way....

I am sure I beleave in ghosts and I can say that this would be a place I would love to spend the night in. If walls could talk walls like these would have alot to say.

Madison if you look Motts has been to Pennhurst and Letchworth. Also Linda Vista has been demolished in the last year or two. But I agree about Waverly.
