I live near here, and i remember when they built that middle part connecting the two bldgs?!
Gee! Why can't they put porches like this on regular hospitals nowadays? Or better yet, why don't they put them on hospices? I think that would be a great idea! Does anyone else agree?
YIKES! Now THIS is a scary picture to me! Motts, you always find the most interesting things to photograph.
I can't help but wonder if the resident didn't have sonething to do with that poor kitty cat's demise, too. However, on the other hand, thé cat could have been his pet. That means someone else could have killed the cat in an attempt to try to make the resident leave the premises. Just a thought!....M'y cat is in my lap right now. and I think I'll let her stay à good while longer. : )
It also reminds me of Pandora's Box opening up....Everybody look out! Annoter great creative shot, Motts!

thanx for the finished product
This would be a good wallpaper, and also you should visit Ohio some more Motts, cause there are some abandoned hospitals I know of, and other cool stuff like The Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield.
Very Nice... Sea-foam Green. Reminds me of some old Psych offices I used to see growing up that had not even been renovated since the 1960's. I truly miss walking through and having a gaze at those places.

My boyfriend directed me to a game site and while examining it, I INSTANTLY recognized the picture of the door as being one of your pictures. Here is the site: http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-106

@wanderer no it is the 3rd floor roof.
..... and the floor has been swept, true, and there was a carpet there once upon a time. This is absolutely beautiful, clever, dreamlike, elegant.......and fair.
The softness of this is stunning and so moving.
Wonder if there was a carpet on the floor, once upon a time.
Thoughtful skills: Rails on both sides. That is so cool, good and useful. Really like. Then you don´t need to switch side with your load.
Someone sweeping the floors; someone really cherishes and loves this old building. Why else would anyone do that? Am good with that and understand, also. Really like this place. Good picture.
Verden - Always back to Verden. My favorite place of all, realize.
Soft. Always soft at Verden.
