It occurs to me that the paint may be cheap latex painted over a poorly prepped surface or possibly it is wallpaper that has been painted over and is peeling for the same poor prep.

That's an UGLY color!

After seeing the beautiful lobby with the mirrors, this looks like it doesn't realy belong to the same building...

The colorful feather in this brownish-grey mess. Stunning. I absolutly love feathers, and that's a great photo of a feather.
Besides, I think it's to big to be a part of an earring.

This place looks like it's been abandon for years and years, not just nine.

It is called T bar Mica. It hangs from 3/16" wires that are screwed or shot into the ceiling above. It is for drop ceilings (2'x4'x1" fiberglass tiles) an invention to conserve energy and save money by shrinking the height of rooms in old buildings that were built that way to encourage air flow which was how they regulated temperature before industrial sized AC and central heating was available.

Yeah, it would make a cool hotel! I'd just like to see it revamped and enjoyed again

Wonder if that staircase was labeled "up" and "down". Seems that the out and in doors should have been switched lol. They seem backwards.

Very peaceful hallway.

Pretty narrow doors, guess the out and in worked to keep kids moving. Would have been a traffic jam otherwise.

Am I missing water lines from Katrina? Did the building flood or just wind damage, etc. Paint only peeled below the chair rail. Odd.
