Thank you for another gorgeous gallery!
We need an update on your building in Detroit too.
Merry Christmas Mr. Motts!
Panorama is great. The white portion almost look out of place compared to the rest of the building.
The kids section...no child should be in a place like this.
Poignant. Beautiful photo.
Surprised no one took it for scrap. Bet those made noise when they came down.
Wow congrats Motts!

There is one piece of paint that almost looks like it has numbers on it near the top of the door.
Still beautiful in spite of the mud and dirt.
What were you supposed to be cautious of?

I believe it led into the utilitarian / unfinished attic spaces, used for heating ducts and the like.
The same linoleum is in the kitchen at my parents' house. Interesting.

Thanks! Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to check out Ft. McClellan, as it had to be a pretty quick drive from Atlanta to NOLA, but it's on my map.

Yep I was able to explore the original Bryce Hospital, although it wasn't easy. I believe the university is renovating it these days.

Yes, the chapel is a separate building, added by the sisters in 1896.
10,000 pics posted, what a milestone Tom! And you've really been booking out the new sets lately, merry Christmas for us:) The variety of locations and genres is great also. On the subject of Alabama, have you ever toured the abandoned Army barracks in Ft. McClellan? My dad was in boot camp there in '81 and saw it again back in '02 or '03 and said it was all abandoned. He Didn't have a camera but I would love to see it too, and so would Dad again.
