why does this remind me of the Miss America pageant???

Thank you, AngelWolf(sans 13), for your very kind words...even closed this place will always stir up emotions in the hearts of those who went there, those who never went there and look longingly over or through the fence, or those who risked sneaking in.
Proving once again, that open or closed this forest STILL has the magic of touching us all with it's enchanted spell that was first cast 50 years ago...

You can actually see the indentions and wrinkles in the mattress where someone slept.

Is this wall still standing?

They aren't windows, but projector portals. The portal on the right has an obvious crude graffitti drawing of the mascot of the thrash band "Overkill" done by Blitz, a Byberry regular..

It even looks like it has teeth!

Is that a demon face on the window shade on the right? Is that just the was it's corroded, or did someone put it there? It looks like a skeleton/demon face w/a star on the forehead!

never bored by the "looking out the barred window" shots!! Never do they fail to send shivers up the ol' spine....

These items have been saved and are now at Clark's Elioak Farm.
Only time will tell what can be done to try to bring them back to life again...but I am thankful that they are in caring hands.

p.s. please, do try to be more careful next time. i hope your hand healed alright. if you're also a guitarist i sure hope it wasn't your left hand (unless you're left-handed).
