The earth sinking in underneath the headstones is very disturbing
what a waste indeed, I would love one of those to live in, even if it is haunted!
looks like a ride at the fair
What chart?
there's something about rotten floors that fascinates me.
unfortunately some people are like that too
I have a ton of those American Plastic Bricks from when I was a kid, now I want to go home and do the same thing with them! Cool!
This is so impressive! I keep going back and forth between the post card and the other pictures to see what has changed over the years. Time sure has a way of taking it's toll on everything, including ourselves.
a good excuse NOT to keep out!
What would make this shot even more compelling would be if there was a light on in one of the windows. I'm glad I stopped by today, I was rewarded with a new gallery. This has to be my favorite website on the internet. I have gained such respect for hospitals and mental health not to mention becoming a great fan of Mr. Motts! Thank you for all the wonderful hours I've spent here.
or Tara after the burning of Atlanta
It amazes me how you can capture such brilliant photographs with hardly any light. The sign of a true master!
That crutch is awfully near where it looks like the floor is giving way -
yeah, the ashtrays built in to the chair arms takes me back to the days when you could smoke while getting your hair cut, while standing in line at the market or bank, while riding on the bus or in a cab, in a bar or restaurant, at your desk at work. . .. maybe if people were allowed to smoke again they would be a little calmer and wouldn't be such miserable, rude, inconsiderate rags all the time. WOW I think I just opened up a big can of worms!! Well, I did smoke like a blast furnace for 25 years and quit cold turkey 5 years ago so I think I have some perspective about smoking.
now that would be a cool jar to catch your change at the end of a day
